The Fort of Tancrémont (Pepinster) is a Belgian fort located 3 km south of Pepinster . It was built in the 1930s and was added, with those of Aubin-Neufchâteau , Battice and Ében-Émael to the 12 forts of theFortified position of Liège built around 1880.
He was the last fort and the last Belgian unit to surrender to the German forces during the 18-day campaign in the first days of the Second World War .
It is preserved and can be visited.
